this chatelaine is a reconstruction based on the fragmentary finds from Gilton Anglo-Saxon cemetery (7th century) with added tweezers, pricker and spoon all in forged steel so it is not totally accurate, the chatelaine is secured to a belt with the belt clip and is based on the description and drawings in Faucett's Inventorium Sepulchrale (1757-1773). nominally 40cm long made in Sheffield England by Daegrad Tools
