A hand forged and hand made chest lock of the Anglo-Saxon period. based on the find from mucking II Anglo-saxon cemetery dated to the 5th to early 7thC, based on frind from Grave 621, find 1B, fully functional set supplied with key, comprising of 5 parts as was the original, contains one slider, one spring set and two guides plus the two prong key (see the video on how it works), easy installation (does require some competence in woodwork), 75mm centres with a 27mm slide range of the 3x6mm bolt, the two guides can either be set into a drilled hole and cut flush with the outside of the box or bent over on the outside as shown in the photographs. made in Sheffield England by Daegrad Tools. we advise test assembly on a piece of scrap wood first, total length of slide bolt is 130mm. supplied as constituent parts for customers self assembly. woodwork shown is for illustration in how the lock works once assembled and is not supplied
