A heavy duty taper bodkin awl for use in basket weaving, the taper Is made from hardened steel set into a varnished beech wood handle with nickel ferrule, total length is 35cm with an 11 cm handle and a 24cm steel taper, the taper goes from 11mm down to 4mm with a ground ballistic tip, made in Sheffield England by Daegrad Tools.
