Egyptian adze roman period Stelae depiction 25mm wide cutting edge

a hand forged water quenched S275JR egyptian style adze of the Roman period
25mm wide cutting edge and an ashwood handle supplied with jute twine (it was common
practice to dip the jute in water as jute shrinks when wet thus tightening the blade to the ash wood stock.)
this is a fully functional light adze based on a depiction on a funerary stelae from Rome
(Museo Gregoriano Profano, Inv 3262, mid 3rd century AD)
metalwork length is nominally 8" 200mm
