a hand forged tapered needle makers anvil constructed to a medieval style, 20x10mm strike face with needle makers slot, designed for flattening the needle head and filing the point on the needle, the anvil is made from water quenched S275JR steel nominally 5" long with a taper for bench mounting (wooden mounting block and needle blank for illustration only and is not included in the sale). Made in Sheffield England by Daegrad Tools.
