a hand forged medieval style steel bloodletting dish the dish is nominally 6" (150mm))diameter with a central depression about 2" (50mm) diameter and made from hand forged 2mm thick steel for living history re-enactment surgical use.
please note the dish will rust if left wet but can easily be de rusted using a brillo pad and hot soapy water, keep oiled when not in use.
also comes with a hand forged fully functional fleam of the medieval period, based on find 12728 from coppergate in York (14th century), nominally 10-11cm long with a curved sharp blade, forged and twisted body with ring. made in Sheffield England by Daegrad Tools
