a hand made wool comb in 2.4mm diameter steel designed for bench mounting, fan design possibly hand held but more likely to be block mounted, this type represents a small corpus of finds with this example based on the find from the Romano-British site at great Dunmow, Essex, UK, made in sheffield england by daegrad tools, the fan width is nominally 10cm (4 inches)
