a hand forged and water quenched S275JR steel one piece saw of the Roman period, hand cut blade designed for hand sharpening. based on the find recovered from the Thames in London, in the MoL but with no further information, nominally 8-10 TPI, hand cut with set, presumed bone and antler working use but does cut wood. made in Sheffield England by Daegrad Tools. one off item
