A, a hand forged set of Tongs or forceps based on find TON7 (MoL 1586) from Roman London, type 5 design nominally 8" 210mm long now in the Guildhall Museum, designed for living history re-enactment use (not designed for hot working- for cold use only due to the small rivet), also suitable for surgical use and a variety of crafting applications.
B, a generic style hand forged steel set of tongs or forceps, based on a Roman period style but will also fit mid medieval styles as well, made from water quenched S275JR steel, nominally 10" 250mm long, not designed for hot metalworking but useful for a vast array of crafting applications as well as surgical use in a living history context
C, a hand forged pair of steel apothecaries or surgeons tongs or forceps, 7" long (170mm) with right angled terminals, suitable for medieval and later living history re-enactment use.
D, a hand forged pair of steel apothecaries or surgeons tongs or forceps, 6" long (150mm) with spoon terminals (flat spatulate), suitable for medieval and later living history re-enactment use.
