beechwood handle supplied as a set of two; one left and one right hand
suitable for anglo Saxon viking roman and medieval reenactment use
designed for hand sharpening only, the bevel is on the inside edge (as on the originals)
and not on the outside like modern spoon gouges

Technical note; in keeping with the design of the hand forged originals all daegrad tools gouges and
curved cutting tools have the bevel forged on the inside edge, only modern gouges , scorps and
other curved cutting tools have the bevel on the outside edge, this is for ease of modern manufacture
and for machine sharpening and is not authentic (or at the least very rare)
