a hand forged viking style smithing set comprising of a T anvil, flat rough ground surface with pritchel hole nominally 150mm tall by 150mm long x 25mm wide, based on the find from roman silchester (1.25kg) suitable for light metalworking in a wide variety of re-enactment contexts from the Roman period to the medieval, strike face of 6" x 1" (150x25mm), a hand forged water quenched S275JR steel hammer constructed to the style of the metalworking hammers from the Mastermyr Hoard (gotland 1,000AD), strike face of 20x25mm with a raising face of 25x5mm, supplied with an ash wood handle (disassembled for posting). weighs 250g designed for light metalworking use and one pair of pliers, heavy duty. the entire smithing set is designed for light metalworking use in a living history context, always wear protective equipment (including safety glasses) when metalworking. made in Sheffield England by Daegrad Tools
